Success Stories from BNU - School of Computer and IT- Abdul Basit Raja:
I did my BSc (Hons) in Management and Business Computing with major in HR and minor in IT from School and Computer and Information Technology, BNU.
During my four-year long stay at the university, I was given an opportunity to learn and grow myself with the best faculty, atmosphere and internship opportunities. The faculty, management staff and the students have always been supportive throughout this journey. Soon after I graduated, I was lucky enough to get in to Forbes under 60 enlisted firm, Porsche. Initially I was hired as a trainee HR executive and very soon got promoted to the position of HR Officer where I worked for good two years. Afterwards, I joined a renowned Land Development company i.e. Rafi Group as their Senior HR Executive at the Head Office (Lahore). I worked on overall recruitment across Pakistan (both North and South Regions).
Alongside my profession, I completed my M.Phil. in Strategic Human Resources. Currently I'm working at Defence Housing Authority as Deputy Manager, Operations. My current responsibilities include managing the operations process, design planning, control, performance improvement, and operations strategy making.
Looking back, I can proudly say that BNU played an important role in making me who I am today.
