Success Stories from BNU - School of Computer and IT - Hafiz Abdul Hannan:
My roller coaster ride started ten years ago from BNU city campus, where I met best of my comrades for the first time. Apparently, I had a runway of four long years in front of me to buckle up myself and to be ready for whatever coming next but I was so busy in enjoying bits and pieces of the process that I only realised when my flight was taking off for Finland. My name is Abdul Hannan and I did my bachelor in Software Engineering from BNU School of Information and Technology.
Now I am a Master in Software Engineering, working full-time for Siemens as a software developer and contributing in next generation of Mobility Operating System, also known as Advanced Traffic Management System. In part-time, I entertain clients of my baby IT consulting firm called Belambo. Previously, I was employed in Fraunhofer, the largest European research center, where I was working as a data scientist on a Smart Solar City project. I am a hobbyist photographer, runner, cyclist, chess lover, traveled in 15 countries and 100+ cities, lived in North of Finland, experienced -45° and enjoyed magnificent phenomenon of aurora lights. Currently I am living in my dream city of Berlin, a mashup of 180+ nationalities and surprisingly nobody looks offbeat, because everyone is offbeat here.
I was an average Gov't school student, and then an average Gov't college student. BNU was my runway, and I am thankful to everyone who became a part of my journey and fuelled my wings to fly this high. Thanks BNU.
