My name is Sanna Asghar. In 2014, I joined BNU’s School of Education to pursue my degree in MPhil TESOL. I’ve always been an introvert but my journey at BNU gave me the confidence to express myself freely and helped me enhance my skills and expertise. My teachers at BNU especially Ma’am Shabana Ahmed played a vital role in encouraging me to achieve my goals.
I worked as a teaching assistant at the BNU- School of Computer and Information Technology. After completing my MPhil from BNU in 2017, I started working as an English Lecturer at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore and within a year I took up the role of a Research Associate at UHS Lahore. I have also written research reports for the Institute of Learning Emergency Medicine (ILEM) project at UHS Lahore, it’s what I am passionate about. I have five research publications in HEC recognised national and international journals and recently another one has been accepted for publication in HEC recognised Scopus Indexed International Journal. Currently, I am a PhD Linguistics Scholar at the University of Lahore (UOL).
I owe my success to BNU as this institute has inculcated within me the confidence that I have today.
