Success Stories from BNU - Department of Economics - Alina Tariq:
I still remember my first day at BNU was not as happening as I thought it would. I had zero friends coming in with me to this place and I felt like an alien amongst all the other energetic group of people. 4 years from that day, graduating with a Gold Medal and a distinction of BSc Hons in Economics, I can proudly say that BNU gave me the best platform to explore myself and learn to be able to avail opportunities in my educational degree and beyond with the most supportive faculty and peers that gave me memories to cherish for a lifetime.
Immediately after the final semester was over, I got hired as an associate financial analyst by the Pakistan’s first and only credit rating agency PACRA where I worked for a year with some of the leading banks and financial institutions. BNU gave me the confidence and it taught me how to be the best version of myself which then brought forward an opportunity from the world’s leading Health and Wellness company, Nestlé. Being selected in the batch of 15 out of 53000 applications from all over the country, I joined Nestlé Pakistan as a Management Trainee for HR in July 2019 and worked in multiple areas where I was able to add great value to the organization.
BNU presented me great learning opportunities, I owe a great deal of my success to it and it surely doesn’t end here.
